Agents
Agents (operators) - are employees responsible for setting up, managing, and maintaining access control and management systems. Their responsibilities include managing access for employees and visitors, organizing time and attendance records, and ensuring facility security by restricting access to the premises.
The main responsibilities of access control system Agent are:
- System setup
- Equipment Maintenance
- Troubleshooting
- Alarms and events tracking acknowledgement
To create an Agent, agent needs to:
- Open ‘System Configuration’ menu
- Click on ‘Agents’ Tab
- Fill out ‘Agents’ profile form
? The Agents’ profile is the form which containsts: ‘Login Information’ section, ‘Agent Information’ section, ‘Email Information’ section, ‘Tenants Access’ section.
The Agent’s ID is assigned automaticaly.
‘Agent Level’ is a selector, which is used to assign one of the predefined access levels to the agent see ‘Agent Levels’ for details.
‘Max Threat Level’ field is used to specify login limitations. For example, if it is ‘orange’, the agent with Max Threat Level set tp ‘blue’ will not be able to log in.
Additional operation modes could be applied to the agent profile:
- Change Password Required - Agent needs to create new password
- No session timeout - session will never expire
- Hide any time period - time period is hidded
- ‘Is enabled’ The profile may be disabled completely if ‘Is enabled’ checkbox is unchecked.
‘Tenants access’ section defines which tenanats’ objects are available for this agent.
It is possible to specify
- Unlimited access to tenants
- Default tenant which is a responsibility zone for Default Agent.
NOTE: There is always a Default Agent (Admin) in the system with full access rights.
